  • High in vitamin C and folate

  • Good source of fiber, vitamin A and potassium

Buying and Serving Ideas

  • Buy fresh or frozen broccoli

  • Don't over cook it; the longer you do, the more nutrients you lose and it changes color

  • Steam it or use a small amount of water

  • Add crunch and color to pasta or potato salad with broccoli florets

  • Cook frozen broccoli in microwave. Remove, sprinkle with cheese, and cook 1 more minute. Delicious!
