Tipsheets

Tipsheets are available for four specific audiences. On the front they feature tips for being physically active, with and without young children, and on the back they include suggestions for healthy eating and a recipe targeted to the audience. Tipsheets measure 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and are printed in color on cardstock.

English tipsheets are available in limited quantities. Spanish translations can be downloaded for printing on your own.

Posters

Posters are 17x22" and are suitable for an office or classroom wall. Artwork for the poster and tipsheets was created by Birgit Bach of Under the Sun Arts and is reserved for use in the Walk, Dance, Play campaign. poster showing active family

Magnets

Magnets are 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and are still available. Magnets were adapted from the "Eat Healthy, Your Kids Are Watching" campaign developed by the Michigan Nutrition Network at Michigan State University Extension. magnet features apple with text: Be Active, Eat Healthy, Your kids are watching

Displays

Two interactive displays are available to download. A large variety of clipart is included so educators can adapt the display for specific audiences. A bilingual display (Spanish) is also available. Files are in MS Word format.

CALENDAR DISPLAY. Message: Choose one thing you can do each day to be more active. Photo. Includes optional panel about healthy snacks. Photo w/ snack panel.

STOPWATCH DISPLAY. Message: Aim for 60 minutes of physical activity each day. Photo 1 and Photo 2 .

Newsletter articles and press releases

Available for download as one MS Word file, these are designed so participating agencies can "fill in the blanks" to include local information. Includes a general purpose campaign announcement as well as newsletter articles for WIC/Head Start, schools, and seniors.
