ApplicationReview of applications for fall admission and selection of the incoming class begins the second week of January. Final decisions are usually made by March 15. Students may be admitted in January for the Spring semester; however, funding during that period is extremely limited. To insure full consideration for admission into IGPNS, it is strongly recommended that applications be completed by January 1 for fall admission. Applications received after that time will be considered as funding and space permits. Applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Examination and should do so in October or earlier so that the scores will be available by December. You must apply online; there are no more paper applications. Go to https://www.gradsch.wisc.edu/eapp/eapp.pl. Two copies of your official academic transcripts should be sent to the Director of the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences. In addition, three letters of recommendation, GRE scores, and your statement of Reasons for Graduate Study must be included in your application materials and sent directly to the Director. Although admission is to the Graduate Program, you should indicate in your statement which of the three emphasis groups you are most interested in. Letters of recommendation instructions can be found here: If you need additional information, please e-mail admissions@nutrisci.wisc.edu or write to: Director |
