Admission

For admission to the Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences, a student must complete a B.S. or B.A. degree in a recognized college or university. A Master's degree is not required for admission into our Ph.D. program. The basic background for the degree program would ordinarily be provided by an undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, or in one of the biological, medical, or agricultural sciences with a strong complement of basic science courses.

All applicants should have a grade average of B or better, and undergraduate research experience is strongly recommended.
